Cyprus: HELP IN MOVING TO PROTARAS:

Hi we are a Glasgow couple with an 9 year old hoping to move to the Protaras/Pernera area in the next 2 years. I am looking for advice on schools in the area and how easy it is to integrate a child into it. I currently work in the Health Board as a PA and my husband is a painter and decorator. When I was on the job sites there are some jobs that I could do but funnily enough there doesn't seem to be any for my husband. I thought there would be a big demand for painters. Does any one out there have any contacts in the building industry. We are also hoping possibly to rent for the first 6 months with a view to then buying. Have taken loads of information from a website on the net and I also have a contact who emails me regularly regarding property. We are coming over in July 2006 for a holiday and fact finding mission. Grateful for any of you out there who could give us a bit of guidance. Cheers Sandie
