Peru: Family looking to make life change:

Hello, we are a family of 5 and we are looking to move to Peru. We have never lived anywhere internationally we are US citizens living in Florida right now. We have no idea how to make this move. What are family friendly areas to live that is inexpensive? And how do you find places to rent that is furnished for long term? Everywhere we search it's vacation rentals. Please help! Any additional information about moving here is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
