Colombia: Moving to Bogata in January 2016:

I am visiting Bogata in October to learn as much as I can before moving from Florida. I am semi retired and just started on online learn English tutorial program. I have lived in Mexico, England and France. My desire is to live closer to the US. Any good tips for first timers moving to Colombia? Really enjoyed your post. I lived in Mexico for six months. There was some variety of restaurants but the main fare is Mexican. I cooked most of my meals when I could find good spices. I am from the US but have traveled globally and my favorite is Italian food. One thing I missed was deserts like plan old apple pie, pound cake, chocolate too. I am not a big sweets eater but I like knowing I can get something good. Would love to provide deserts for your restaurant
