Thailand: Any market for Spanish teachers in Thailand ?:

My wife is a native Spanish speaker. We see a lot of options in Thailand for me as an English teacher, but how about teaching Spanish ??? Thanks very much !

Thailand: Thai 10 year retirement visa ??? Big $$$:

100,000 baht/month income....or 3 million baht in the bank for a year....PER PERSON ? So, my wife and I need double that, which right now would be roughly $5600/monthy or $170,000 in a Thai bank ? Really ??? So, visa runs ???

Thailand: Chiang Mai:

Heat and humidity- I've been to BKK and Pattaya. Growing up in Florida I have been in heat and humidity, but WOW ! That's bad. I have not been to Chiang Mai and hope to move there one day. I understand it is cooler, but still pretty darn hot. It is the only downside I see to moving there. Can you please comment on how how bad it is....how you deal with it...how much cooler is it than BKK, etc ? Thanks very much !

Thailand: How can I get a Thai retirement visa ??:

I'm surprised to hear you say that. I've seen several expats that have lived in both places say that the Vietnamese people are not nearly as friendly as the Thai people. My wife and I are open to any place in SE Asia, pretty much, but that kind of led us to staying away from Vietnam. Thank you for your input.

I grew up in the southern US, as a college football fan. Will I be able to see all of the games if I'm living in Cuenca ? ESPN 1 and 2, Fox Sports 1 and 2, SEC network, ABC, NBC, CBS ? Thanks !

I would assume that the heat the dog must endure in the bottom of the plane, would be tremendous ???
