Saint Lucia: Moving to SLU:

Hello, I'm a German Citizen who is married to a St Lucian. Actually we live in Germany but I'm thinking of moving to st Lucia cause its hard to almost impossible to find a job in Germany for my wife, plus the language is really hard to learn compared to English. After reading many forums im a bit worried about finding a job in st Lucia. I'm a Chef and wife said it will be pretty easy to find a job since many employees (the big hotels) tend to take well trained chefs from overseas... My questions are: Will I have less trouble to get a work permit since im married to a Lucian citizen? Anybody knows about the income in the tourist sector (esp. As a Chef) From what I read in the forums luvian employees take Lucian citizens first...so the opposite of what my wife told me. I hope I will find some answers here. Greeting from Germany
