Ireland: Staying in Ireland more than 3 months:
Does that mean they were ok with the overstay? I just arrived a few days ago to do the allowed 3 mo's. I came with an exit plane ticket, as I've had to do with all countries I visit as a US citizen. The customs officer was thorough in asking why I'm staying fro 3 mo's, where I'll be living, & he wanted to see the exit ticket. That gave me the impression they are strict on the deadline to leave.
Grenada: snorkeling:
I just arrived a few days ago & will be here 3 months. I asked about snorkeling at a dive shop yesterday & was told the only reefs are accessible by boat & it costs $40 US for an hour of snorkeling. Is it true there are no reefs off the main island to snorkel?
Grenada: dancing:
I will be living on Grenada Jan - March of 2016. My passion is dancing: ballroom, Latin, swing, country. Can anyone recommend places to go dancing? I did find a restaurant/bar that offers salsa lessons once or twice/week. I hope they are still doing that. I'm looking for social dance places.
Grenada: apt and car rental resources:
HI all,
I am a single female retiree planning to spend Jan-March on Grenada. I'm US born but have lived in the Caribbean before & now live in Panama. I have a volunteer assignment lined up for Grenada to help connect to the community when I get there. I now am searching for inexpensive housing & possible car rental. Can you recommend any resources? I've already used the typical google search rental agencies & have inquired with some of them. I'm hoping you might have some "insider" info on where to find good deals. I need a furnished 1BR apt & basic vehicle. Thanks. I'm looking forward to getting to know people :-)
