Austria: Spending a Year in Austria:

My husband is retiring next year. I was a German major in college, studied in Germany. Read German. Rusty in speaking. Understand the history and culture. My dream is to solidify my German fluency and live in my favorite city of Salzburg for a year. I know nothing about moving there for a short time, what Austria requires, healthcare coverage, what it costs to rent in Salzburg, the issues in moving - basically I know nothing on what it takes to live there and what I don't even know to ask. Where do I even start?
