Uruguay: what belongings can I bring?:

Myself, my son and some friends are moving to U. April 2016. We will fly in to Montivideo. Is it an international airport. Also, can we bring all household goods by sea and is there a restriction on a mattress? Does it have to be new or can it be used. What about vehicles? Any info would be appreciated. Also we are planning to move on to the Rivera area. Anyone here with knowledge of that area? Thanks for any info.
