Philippines: condo insurance:
I'm planning to retire to the Philippines in a year and buy a condo. With the storms and, yes, theft, I'd like to know if there is a US equivalent to condo insurance in the Philippines.
Ecuador Welcome Forum: Relocation tour:
You may want to try Ecuador Expat Journeys. They are on the web and Facebook. You will tour major and second-tier cities, hear from bankers, immigration attorneys, culture people, and facilitators, and take with you a book of all the professional people you met along with everyone on the tour.
I highly recommend them. Price was right, too when compared to other relocation tours I encountered.
Philippines: Senior Citizen Discount?:
I recently saw an April, 2014 article in US News and World report about Tagaytay written by Kathleen Peddicord of International Living fame. She mentions that retirees age 60 and over with residency in the Philippines are entitled to discounts on groceries, entertainment, utilities and medical expenses, comprising one of the best retirement packages in the world. But reading IL, they mention Panama, Ecuador, and others, but not the Philippines.
Does anyone know or know where to access the details of these 60 and over benefits?
Philippines: stock market investing:
Does anyone have experience investing on the Philippines Stock Exchange? I've tried some websites and it seems more organized than some other countries' investment markets.
Ecuador Welcome Forum: stock market investing:
Has anyone invested in either the Quito or Guayaquil Stock Exchanges? I'd be interested in your experiences and suggestions.
