Norway: Daughter moving:
Hi,
I moved to Norway from Scotland for my long term boyfriend with a basic understanding of the language. We love up north and I have been lucky picked up the language got a decent job. Maybe in bigger city no norweigian would be fine. But now I can settled but the first six months where he'll, culture change weather change loss of my career....good luck to your daughter live moves mountains and if she is determined am sure she will be fine
Norway: Moving with young family from uk:
I don't have children so can't speak for that experience. I also had basic norweigan I moved here and nothing was as easy or as normal as I expected. I didn't however have a decent job offer and moved from the uk for a basic job to be with my partner. Through a lot of mental struggles, I now have friends and a good job, I have better norweigan but still every day learning. I made the right choice for my life. My advise is I found the difference extremely negative and it took a lot of soul searching to decide it was not negative just different.
Norway: Mosjøen anyone:
I recently moved to mosjøen and am settling in ok, but really struggling to find friends, so anyone in or around this area that would like to go for a coffee?
