El Salvador: Should I accept the job or not?:

Hi, am a single white female, european with very basic spanish. I have been offered a job in La Libertad and am going over the pros and cons as to whether to accept it. How safe is it for someone like me? What sort of wage do I need to look at to have a decent standard of living? What is the housing like? Will I be able to safely go to the supermarket to get my shopping? go to the cinema? go to the beach? go clothes shopping etc. etc? Any information will be gratefully recieved and anything I've not thought of please let me know.
