Russia: Getting ready to make my life changing move to Omck Oblast...:

Sure I have lots of questions but the first one is regarding electricity. Anyone who has been abroad knows that in Europe 220vac is used and that appliances must have converters or a little selection switch on them like older Norelco shavers did (but no longer have). I have not been to Europe for nearly 60 years. The question is: In Russia what voltage is used? Is it the same as here in America or is it 220vac? Seems like when everything started being made in China the built in options for electricity were eliminated. Anyone know? If not I'll just ask at the Russian Consulate next time I'm there. Thanks
