Belize: Internet Suggestions:

I'm visiting Belize for a few weeks and want to do some work while I'm there. I have a Claro USB internet stick. Will it work in Belize? How easy is it to use this service there and to reload it? I'm curious if the internet is fast enough to do things like Skype and video chat (options I must have for my work). I recall reading that Belize didn't have good internet, would love to hear from those that use it regularly for work. Thank you in advance (:

Hi there, I've had the pleasure of being here one month and I've noticed a range of internet availability. The issue for me is I need fast internet and it seems to be hard to get. Is this common in Guatemala? I've upgraded to a USB internet stick (4G) and yet I still have connectivity challenges when it comes to live video like Skype. Any suggestions? I'm visiting Guatemala next month and I have a special diet (plant-based). This can be a challenge when traveling. Anyone know of the healthy restaurants in the following areas: Guatemala City Antigua San Antonio San Pedro San Marcos And any others you think are worth mentioning, even if it's on the coast...I'm up for exploring. Belize: Driving from Mexico to Belize:

Hi, I'm planning to drive from Mexico (Baja California) to Belize. Looking for tips about the trip. My car and plates are US, will this be a problem? What are the car ownership rules for Belize? Will likely stay in Belize a few months then drive through the rest of Central America, making stops along the way; maybe an extended stay in Costa Rica. I've enjoyed reading through posts on the forum, looking forward to your replies!
