Hi, we move to Cascais last November from Central NY Syracuse, so far so good. Last month I helped Graham and Sheila Strong from Virginia Beach VA that have been living in Ireland for the last 4 years, got tired of living there. Last Feb they were here asking for help I read their post and now they are moving here next month. What got me about your post is the Auctions. I am a long time Ebayer seller for the most part. There's a big Auction House 10 minute from where we live its Called Opurtunity Leiloes. Also just learned about another Auctions in the area and some in Lisbon. Hi, my wife and I just moved from NY State to Cascais and so far so good. We are meeting knew people and making friends. This old town is an old fishing village, very friendly and pretty. Lisboa is a 35 minute by train. Public transportation is excellent and the beaches are superb. If you want to come here I will gladly show you what I know. All the best. Jose

Hello, my names is Ze (spells Zay) its short for Jose in Portugal. Anyways we moved to Portugal last month from NY we lived in many states including Alaska, met my wife in a party in Santa Barbara CA but after so many years we felt it was time to come back. So far so great we love it. Living here is way more relaxed, the food one can't compare, flavors and price are completely a different reality, wine is almost given.
