Taiwan: Test:

I am about to accept a teaching job in a typical cram school. Besides all the regular stuff they request like copies of passport, degree, health clearance, they are saying I need to take a "test" and have scheduled it during one if my training days. My contact there really won't say much about this. Does anyone know,what kind of "test" this is.? At first I thought they meant DEMO but....it's not.

Taiwan: breaking apartment lease:

I signed a 1 year lease for a studio apartment in Fengyuan District on Dec. 10. Does anyone know what penalties are for breaking a lease? I am moving to a different city and the commute would be too far if I stayed in Fengyuan.

Taiwan: Hepatitis C:

I am an American in Taiwan and have accepted a job teaching English. Will I be denied an ARC/work visa if I have Hep C? I have not had my health check yet and am worried. I never was asked this on any application nor was it an issue during my skype interview.
