Colombia: any thoughts on the NASA moon missions:

?I believe BigJailerMan and Andreson are only two rational people in this whole on-line conversation. Now, that JoeMindWarpO (what a fitting name) has apparently moved to Colombia, is he planning to stop worrying about the so-called conspiracies in the United States and concentrate on finding ones here in Colombia. I'm sure there is fertile field to be plowed in Colombia and some not without good reason. Start with the decimation of the Palace of Justice in 1985, when most of the 11 Supreme Court justice were killed and innumerable people went missing. And the rumor is that Pablo Escobar was behind it, because the Palace of Justice contained documents which could lead to him being turned of to the US authorities. JoeMindWarpO -- there's a real story you could follow, because it has never been answered to anyone's satisfaction who was behind the incident and where approximately some 90 people (cooks, waiters, minor service people) disappeared to, never to be seen again. I think you energies would be well spent there. Also, here in Colombia, for the sake of the rest of us, before the inmates start running the asylum; does Colombia have the equivalent to a county officer or sheriff who can come to your home and put you in one of those straight-jackets made to take psychiatric patients into custody - you know, where they slide you into the sleeves and then wrap the sleeves around your back, so you can't harm yourself or anyone else If so, we might ALL need to keep the number handy, JUST IN CASE. Never know when locos are on the lose.

Colombia: Visa Attorney Study and Experiences:

I recommended Christopher Moeller back when we had all the exchange about the cost of an attorney. For all the folks who say they can't find an honest attorney in Colombia, I suggest you look here. He used to be in Bogotá, but recently relocated to Medellin. If you need contact info, let me know.

Colombia: Native or extremely fluent English speakers needed:

This is such great entertainment. I don't even need TV.

Colombia: Looking for an English Speaking Real Estate Agent in Bogatá:

I'm trying to locate an English-speaking real estate agent that really knows the Bogatá. Anyone had any good experiences? Thanks in advance

Colombia: Immigration Lawyer prices?:

I trained monkey can do this process alone. Clear instructions are right here on this site. If you are determined to give away $700, I'm sure any of us would be will to accept and do the whole thing for you.

Colombia: Medellin vs Bogotá:

Hooray for your defense of Bogotá. I've been here for almost a year and to me It's like living in New York. I have all the advantages of living in a sophisticated, cosmopolitan city; culture, world-class museums, international theatre, book, movie events at an affordable price. And like New York, there a some places you shouldn't go, sometimes OR never ever. I like that Bogotá is cooler -- not looking for the heat in Medellin. I can always put on another sweater. So, to each his/her own. Bogotá has a lot to offer. The northern section of town is clean, quiet and safe. You can walk on the street without fear. So don't just rule Bogotá out arbitrarily. Those of us who live here are here for a reason. We like it!

Colombia: no title:

I take it you all spent time in the same locker room as Donald Trump. While some men (and women) have no morals or ethics, let's not stereotype every by a few "loose screws". There are plenty of native Colombians who would be offended by this behavior. Just as there are some scumbags in the US, who would be happy to sell you their daughter, if they thought they could make a buck. Scumbags pop up every where. I have many Colombian friends, and none would approve. Of course, they come from a different social strata, obviously: educated, gainfully employed, upper middle class. Maybe you should make new friends. Be careful of the company you keep. Lie down with dogs: end up with fleas.

Colombia: Medical services in Colombia-my experiences:

Where did you have this work done? How did you locate the doctor? Was he a specialist or a GP who referred you to a specialist? Can explain obtaining insurance here? Who do you need to contact? Thanks a lot Leigh

I recommend Christoph Möller He is German and I have worked with him. He handles real estate contracts and I find him very easy to deal with. Offices in Medellin and Bogatá. Tell him Leigh Schrom recommended you. (I do not get any perks from recommendations) christoph.moeller@hotmail.de
