Ecuador: Tourist health insurance:

I just read on Gringotree the stipulation for a TOURIST is to have either public or private health insurance. I'm a military veteran who has used the VA for years. Am I allowed to visit Ecuador? Am I suppose to buy insurance....from who, or how long? Is Gringotree confused? I'd appreciate a clear answer. This is getting mind boggling in my attempt to even visit Cuenca.

Philippines: Why are the Philippines so poor?:

Lands laid fallow by the ethereal gentry of England soon came to be productive when re-possessed by King Henry VIII in the 16th century. It then set a trend across Europe. Industrialization, farming, import-exportation of produts, and leasing of land was created by the British Empire, where 'The sun never set”. It went on for centuries. (Mind you, I'm not suggesting anything. Just remembering some history.)

Philippines: Never Trust A Filipina:

This low level earthquake, familiar to the those countries bordering the equinox are low level earthquakes commonly called by Native Americans and Africans as the Meridian Orgasm. It was first discovered by Christopher Columbus and is celebrated by mating rituals and fasting each April 1, every four years, usually on Feb.29. (I know that sounds hard to believe, but it's true..)

Philippines: NY Times nice article about the Phils:

Wisely, the drug abusing, womanizer was dealt with by a surrogate who had been given permission by authorities. I love you Canadian and American white, middle class, moralists. Intelligent? Why haven't you figured that one out? No street-smarts!

Ecuador Welcome Forum: Renting in Cuenca:

Philippines: Fortunate Guy:

Well, I think the going rate for a 'kidnapped-Dutchman' is $200,000.00. But I could be off by a few dollars!

Philippines: the Peacemaker:

I don't think anyone needs my wisdom, but for myself I'd say "color is a symbol'. In the Philippines it means $$$ available. In America it means an evil history of slavery, not known in other countries at that time. (1860) for $$$ Simple explanation for a sad reason called 'life'.

Ecuador: A Trump USA:

How many of these 500 writers fled America after the Presidential election?
