Costa Rica: Electronics:
Are there any restrictions on importing used personal electronics into CR when relocating? (Computers, toasters, coffee makers, iPads, etc.)
Thanks,
Steve W.
Costa Rica: 30 30 photos of Costa Rica:
Very nice. It's on my bucket list maybe to not come back to the USA (depending on the outcome of the 2016 elections!)

Saint Lucia: sports and hobbies:
Has pickleball been introduced to SL yet? Seriously looking at SL depending on the outcome of the USA elections. Love the lionfish ceviche at the Rainforest Hideaway.

PS: How will one fair on $3,000/month with housing purchased free & clear?
Belize: Looking at Options:
My girlfriend & I are looking at options - Costra Rica or Belize. Did you look at Costra Rica? Why did you choose Belize? Obviously, language is in favor of Belize. Cost of living? Easier (or harder) residency? Cost of living? Weather?
Background - I'm 71 & retired. Would like to live on $2,500/month or less. Doable?
Climate: Not concerned about rain. I live in Oregon. Would like a moderate (80's high/60's low) temperature.
Costa Rica: Central Valley:
My girlfriend had a conversation with a doctor who spent 2 years on CR on missionary work. He suggested to Central Valley due to more moderate temperatures. Sarchi looks like an interesting area to investigate. Any pros/cons about this area?

Costa Rica: Airguns:
Are Airguns considered "firearms" & regulated in the same manner?
Thanks,
Steve W.
Costa Rica: Drugs in Costa Rica:
85-90% of the crime in rural SW Oregpn where I live is drug related. This is not just a CR problem.
Costa Rica: Considering Becoming an Expat:
For several reasons, I am giving serious consideration to moving to Costa Rica in 2017. The ideal town would have the following features: Close to beaches (either Pacific or Caribbean), medium size (40-50,000), good health care, low crime, affordable housing (max $200K USD for 2 bed/2 bath), reasonable cost of living ($2,500/month). Looking for suggestions of areas to explore. Many thanks! Steve W.
Ecuador: Gun Laws in Ecuador:
Are air rifles & pistols (.177 caliber)(4.5mm) considered "firearms" in Ecuador?
