Thanks for great information. Are there advisors in the expat exchange that have particular info on SJDS? I visited in January for ten days staying at the very nice Park Avenue Villas. I am coming back June-July for 35 days staying with a wonderful Nicaraguan woman in her small 8 room rental...living on the economy on my SS to test what everyday life would be for me while doing some volunteer work. I want to move permanently in July, 2018. Any advise is appreciated. Paula...70 yr old adventurer and people lover.

I am very interested in a co'housing situation in Belize. I plan to move there in MAY 2017. I'm so interested in all the information about the the Corozal area, and would like to read the entire thread, but even though I am registered, I need to know how to read the entire thread. Thanks. I plan to move and become an expat in a year and 3 months.

Belize: hunting deer:

I am trying to leave behind any reminders of animals being killed for sport, from Deer to Lions to Bears to Elephants. I can adapt to over abundant fish. Especially the kind that are good eaten fresh.
