Brazil: Moving to Floripa:

Hello, I am new to this site. I am needing some help with finding information. I am a Canadian citizen and I am intending on moving to Floripa next year February 2017. I am curious as to how difficult it is to find work? I have a psychology degree and am currently learning Portuguese. Also is it expensive to live if I move in with my partner? What kind of visa/ work permit do I need and how long does it take to obtain? Hopefully someone can help me. Thank you. Jenna
