charkee you made my day!!!..and hear i thought i was the only one left that would not tolerate bad manners,rude,or just plain mean evil people..... being a high school teacher i deal with it much to often...also was married to a satin spawn......but got out of that in 10 month.....sometimes it takes more then a few years to know someone...nunz...

you got to be kidding....30-60 days is a joke..a hard core druggie and or drunk...can do 30-60 days with out even loosing sleep on it....look at the stats world wide....the only programs that have any merit at all are the 1 year faith base addiction programs and there best ## are about 78% and this is after being clean for 2-5 years...all other programs come in at a whopping 8- to 22% and these crap # are at 6 months to 1 year clean ...good luck with that....and oh ya about fear of a bullet in the head...many would prefer it over the life they have.... pick a island put them on it and give them a real choice of there own.....you are in la la land if you think you can force a addict to stop anything at all.....and sorry to say most of them that i have known are not fearful of death......

well after meeting my wife on line,going to see her for 2 weeks,courting her for a year,(everyday on skype 1 to 3 hr with out missing a day!!) and then being married in the states....she said it all. why do men think ph women are any different...there are good and bad everywhere...

hello gw....no i don't live in ozamiz....but have been there many times....my wife is also from there....the place is a bit to dirty for my liking.....but ...there are some nice little towns tords daptan....we will be back in june for a month....my liking is bohol......just a short farry ride away...and close to cebu.....

hello yarswollef my 2 cents on dumaguete (valenca)..my wife and i 2 yr ago spent oh i think 10 days there..lots of expats...some meat up every morning at McDonald...we rented a scooter and went all over the place looking at land and homes ...meting people..did the boardwalk many evenings...ate at restaurants all over the place...valenca was quaint..yes a little cooler...but for me...no thanks...my wife thought it was fine me i would be on the water...the heat is not a factor like for most expats.......we did find a few nice property's half way up..on both hwys.....remember..because of all the expats.. the cost of land is high..but.. for most we talked to they came down in price..a lot....the island property realtors there were helpful to a point..then we went out on our own...safety wise....the whole aria seem very safe for expats..many had there own business....apartment buildings and the like....cost of living was a little higher then what my wife is used to...i thought it was fine...the people were very used to expats...and were very inviting...we walked the streets every night with no problems....as in most casess..if you see a bunch of expats sitting ..they will not invite you over..just go and sit and start talking...if you are in need of that sort of thing...me i did it for info only....otherwise....i find Filipinos more interesting,and up beat.... this was a short version...over all ..i would live in the duma aria....my wife..ahh not so much.....she is a business women..so the over all high prices turned her off...hope this helps a little.....mel

way to go allenhunt...months ago i tried to encourage others on having a business in the ph...why just spend $$ all the time...just because your living in the ph on ss and retirement income..does not mean you can't make a buck...and solar should be much more prevalent in the ph then it is..as elect is a rip off..no pun ..as the brown outs turn it off on a regular basses.. even if you just want to build for yourself..word will get out..and around......ya ya....so the biz needs to be in the wife's name....soooooo what....like i said before ...if you give her your hart...why would you not trust her with stinkin $.......what...are you taking it with you !!!! ha ha....good luck with that....hunt go for it.....if i were there at this moment ....i would make oh about a half doz for my self...as the home my wife and i will build will be off the grid for the most part.....nice to hear a good idea on this sight....it's been a wile....not that some of the bla bla bla is not entertaining....but for the 10 to 20 emails i get everyday....talk about wow....ok now im bla bla bla ing......

Philippines: Bohol:

well much has been shared with you about the wonderful island of Bohol...if i may ....on our 3rd trip there we stayed at a nice hotel..arabella sutes in the heart of TAG....just across the street was a paster of a church who rented very good scooters..automatic transmissions ,we road over half the island saw ,ch hills, sagbyen peak,man made forist,butterfly world,the boat house...all very safe..not at all like some other islands night life is low(a good thing) very good people,lots of peace,beauty ,and a remarkable sense that these people welcome there foreigners,not to exploit them,or pester...but proud to share there wonderful little piece of heaven ..yes i like bohol... the day is soon my hat will hang there.......oh...if you want a very nice romantic night or 2...my wife and i will go to alona beach...you can spend alot or a little..on hotel..but the beach walk at dusk,to your choice restaurant is hard to beat....plus if you like the next day you can take a boat ride to oslob cebu.....and swim with the whale sharks!! it was a blast...
