Panama: Panama for Kids:

We are thinking about moving from the UK to Panama for a few years. Ideally somewhere a little rural but safe. So, is it a safe country? Will it be fun for kids? Where should we live? How much does a familiy (4 small children we home educate) spend on living and accomodation a year on a low budget? What is the paperwork like for residency?
