Panama: Are pet dogs allowed on beaches in Panama?:

I searched for my question and found a thread mostly about stray dogs in Panama. We are considering/planning a move to Pedasi and would bring our 2 year old golden retriever. He loves to swim and I am wondering if dogs are allowed on the beaches or if it's frowned upon officially or unofficially in any way? We clean up after him and he's a well-behaved boy. Thanks!

Panama: Expat families with children:

Hi! My husband and I and our four children (ages 11, 9, 7 and 4) are planning an international move (can work from anywhere) and Panama is at the top of our list. We are coming to Panama in March to check things out. We have never been to Panama but have traveled extensively throughout the world and lived abroad before we had kids. So, to my question. We are wondering if there are expat families with kids all over Panama or if there are certain communities that have more? We'd like a bit of an expat community to help us with settling and adjusting. Learning Spanish and making local friends is a huge priority, but of course, some sort of established expat network would help us tremendously and expats with kids would really smooth our kids' transition. We plan to homeschool, love outdoor activities and nature, want to be involved in the community and are very social people. Any thoughts on the best spots for finding what we're looking for? El Valle, Boquete and Bocas del toro keep popping up when I read expat stories. Thank you!
