Finland: Experiences with schools:

We are moving to the Helsinki area shortly and will be registering our 10 and 7 year old kids in school. We are trying to decide between Espoo international or Helsinki international. The main difference is Espoo uses the Finnish schedule where kids start a year later. We are worried our 7 year old, who is currently reading chapter books and doing long division, will be bored to tears going to a class with kids that have only been in school for one year. We know long term, the Finnish system is probably superior. However, we'll only be there for a couple years. Has anyone done this transition? How did it go? (We would prefer to live in Espoo, which is why we are leaning away from Helsinki International if possible) Thanks
