Spain: Comparing countries:
I've compared several countries for cost of living, healthcare, and Safety.
My primary target locations were Panama, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Spain.
Overall Spain is the top of my list.
Books and the internet will only get you so far. Now I need boots on the ground Intel.
Coming from the US I want live more local after all I will be on a budget.
I lived in Zaragoza for 4 years, Then visited the southern cost for three weeks and loved it.
I was looking at Estepona as a starting point.
Suggestions?
Spain: Moving to Spain:
How difficult is it to move to Spain?
Should we hire a lawyer to help with the process?
Nicaragua: where to live:
We are visiting Costa Rica next month, but I am interesred in Nicaragua also.
Can I get a comparison, cost, health care, and safety?
I would be looking at the San Juan Del Sur area

Costa Rica: Fun things to do in CR?:
Has anyone tried this tour company? Guana Adventures, they get a 5 star rating, but what the real deal?
Costa Rica: Safety:
I'm investigating living in CR, mainly the Del Coco area. Crime is a big concern, I've read some horror stories. What are your feeling on this? Do you have to make your home your prison to be safe?
How do you protect your belongings while at the beach?
Costa Rica: Initial planning visit:
My wife and I are coming in April for our initial visit, we are limiting this visit to the Del Coco area.
We are interested in speaking to some Expats about really living not vacationing in Costa Rica, more or less living a more Tico life style.
Spain: Traveling to Costa del sol in April:
I would be interested in exchanging information. My wife and I are visiting CR in April, primarily looking in the Del Coco area, North Pacific.
Our last visit was to Spain, we found our target area in and around Estepona. This is a great place to start as it is big enough to support your initial needs and close to everything you might want to visit on an initial trip. It does have a good number of Expats, which will be a must during the first year.
Costa Rica: JUST for FUN!:
Finally someone who is truly happy.
Thank you for your post
Costa Rica: Playas Del Coco:
I would be interested in finding out more about the Del Coco area, I'll be there in April this year to check it out.
Let me know what you think, thanks
