China: How do you guys solve language problems in China?:

I use the app Hapeng Lite on my cellphone because it gives you so many choices of Chinese words so that you specifically hone in on the exact word choice. For instance, the English word "stove" has about 20 different Chinese word choices from burner to furnace. Also, I use a lot of gestures. Human body language and miming word meanings is a universal emotional language that requires no translation.
