Jamaica: what advice can you give me about coming to Jamaica?:

Hi folks! I'm a Nigerian national living in lagos in Nigeria and I currentl run an auto sales business in Lagos,Nigeria. However,the biz hasn't been moving well since we had the new govt,who has placed so much restrictions on the import of goods and this has really affected the biz here as so many auto sales dealers and other businessmen,are currentl going out of biz. The good thing about my situation,is the fact that I have other skills. I do music very well and produce songs and can direct videos. However,the market here in Nigeria,is kinda saturated and very expensive to make a breakthrough. I'm thinking of taking my skills outside the shores of my country. Moreso,I think I might get aan early breakthrough into the US market,due to The promixity of the US to Jamaica. So,I'd love to have an idea of what the music,tv and film industry in Jamaica is like. Secondly,like how much would it cost me to live in a decent and not too expensive neighborhood that is crime free in Jamaica. I'd like to get the cost for rent,gas,electricity,feeding and transportation(annually). Would appreciate your feedbacks. Thanks.
