Norway: Moving to Bergen from Australia with 2 kids:

The children will get 1-1 in the class to help them but it will be a shock to them. I enrolled my oldest daughter into the International School where everything is taught in English, except Norwegian lessons. We did look at public schools in the area but thought it would be too much and my girls both speak Norwegian. My girls are 8 & 3 Hope this helps

Norway: Moving with young family from uk:

Hi, I am thinking about leaving the UK to join my partner who is currently working in Alesund. He moved out in October 2015 and would love us to join him. We have 2 little girls aged 7&3 just wanted non bias information if possible. Is it a good place to bring up children? Will we struggle not knowing the language initially?
