I'm interested to hear that you're considering a job with JHAH... my husband accepted a Senior Paramedic position with JHAH in Al Hasa and just arrived in Saudi Arabia 6 days ago. He went through Aramco's orientation in Dhahran and is now in Al Hasa starting work. Once he gets visas for our children and I, we will join him there. Perhaps we will meet someday : ) I don't know what position you're considering or what questions you might have but if you pm me I can probably answer some of them or put you in touch with my husband.

Saudi Arabia: Housing in Al Hasa area?:

Hi, my husband has been offered a job in the Al Hasa area and I am trying to get some leads in housing. The Nada compound sounds wonderful but is out of our price range. Can anyone give suggestions on places to live for under SAR 100,000 per year? It doesn't have to be in a compound. We need 2 bedrooms and I would really love an outdoor pool and children's playground. Other than a pool I'm not picky about amenities. I'm not concerned with a gated compound either, just somewhere relatively safe. Thanks in advance for any help you can give! Any other info on the area would be much appreciated.
