Italy: medical insurance:
We are retired Americans, 80+ yrs.old. Desire to retire in Italy some 100km from Torin. Our US Govt subsideized medicall insurance will cover us with no upper limit but will not cover repatriation or emergency return to USA for medical needs. Commercial insurance companies are NOT interested due to our age. Will Italy give us a residence visa; we have monthly $2500 plus us govt. pension and social security, more than adequate savings well over $60K. Pls. advise by email to: newchavi@verizon.net Help is appreciated. Thanks RKC June2nd
France: Medical Insurance:
Retired American couple 80+ years with US Govt. subsidized Medican insurance, no limits for coverage but BC/BS will not add Repatriation or Emergency Return to USA because coverage exclusively for US emploees ans retirees ONLY, not for general public. How to over come this hurdle? Pls. help. I am prepared to guarantee three times or $100000 for any repatriation or emergency return to USA IF it becomes necessary . Commercial Insurance company NOT interested due to our age. Financial well positioned. Pls. RUSH response by email to: newchavi@verizon.net Thanks RKC

Italy: Chicago:
the denial is from French and not Italy. Now we are exploring Italy. The reason French said NO, is because our U.S.Govt sponsored medical insurance by BC/BS do not cover emergency return repatriation to US, the commercial companies do. As a retired U.S.Govt worker we get a good bargain price where ever we live or visit overseas. Now can you PLEASE help me to give all the details on Italy regulations and especially the clause on"repatriation & emergency medical return" back to USA. Thanks. Pls. give more info on you etc.
