Burma: Motorcycle through Burma:
This sounds like a big adventure.... yes, you can get visa at the border crossing into burma. It is $30.00 for 30 days. You can stick a $10.00 bill in your passport, and they may just give you the visa... Make sure you have an INTERNATIONAL DRIVERS LICENSE and INSURANCE.. so you can travel
freely. If you can, find a local biker to travel with, as it is not safe going solo.. there are many murders every year at the border areas... especially when you stand out as a tourist/foreigner...
Good luck...
Burma: Help with translation:
Hi - the image you took - translated is "Big soldier - Union of Burma".
That is all I can see. Good luck...
Burma: Looking for partner in tourism business:
I was born in Burma, and moved to USA in 1965. Now that I can move back to burma, I am looking for something to do. My family lived in Rangoon's embassy row. As a 12 year old who spoke english, and burmese, I took most of the staffs, working the many embassies, on tours all over burma. Now that I am retired, and moving back to burma, I would like to travel and take tourists all over the country.
Burma: Creating a frienship network, in Yangon:
Hello there - I'm Burmese and a US citizen, retired. I'll be coming to Yangon on December, 2016 and travelling up north to Maymyo, my place of birth.
Would like to meet you.
