Panama: Infrastructure needs in Bocas Del Toro Question:

My wife and I will be moving to the Bocas soon. I know the rules of owning a business in Panama. I.E. You can own a business but you must hire local Panamains. I got all that. What I want to know from the Expats who live in Bocas is what do they need in the form of goods and services. I love micro small business and will be looking for income opportunities. Something that can done under the radar, so to speak. Any ideas out there? What say you? Thanks, John

I am moving to Bocas soon and exploring income producing opportunities. That said, I am conducting a small business potential surrey of what the expats would like to see in Bocas. I really like very small business that fill a void in basic needs and service. Example: Mobile Knife and Scissor sharpening Service, Key Making, or Cooperative Product Development. Is there a Certified Flight Instructor in Boca Del Toro? I Need to stay current with my single engine Private Pilot license. I also want to be able to learn the terrain and routes. Thanks, John
