Egypt: Is it safe?:

Hi Everyone I have been offered a position in Egypt based in Cairo. I don't have a very good track record when it comes to being in the wrong place( I was blown in Iraq) Can anyone tell me exactly what it is like living and working in Cairo. I will be staying in Al rehab and working in an office close by. My family are concerned about the security situation and are worried regarding kidnappings and other threats. I have worked all over Egypt previously but not since the Arab spring and all the issues with ISIS. Can anyone give me advice to put my mind at rest
