Uruguay: Golf - Sep 1st:

Hello all, I have posted about golf on here before, but Im wondering if anyone wants to golf on September 1st, since it is a Monday and free to the public (so I'm told)? Let me know :) would be great to meet some new friends while golfing! I just moved here from Canada and been here about 2 weeks! Cheers!

Hello, I can not find any info on how much it costs to play golf at club de golf del Uruguay. The only info I could find was that it is free to the public on Monday's. Does any one know how much it is to play as a member, or to join as a member? Thanks, TN

Uruguay: Young Canadian moving to Uruguay:

Hello, I have the possibility to move to Uruguay for a 2 year term in Montevideo. I have done tons of research about the country and the city, but I am wondering if anyone can give their personal experiences on making such a big life change? I am a 27 year old male, Canadian, and currently speak no Spanish (I will learn basic Spanish before I move). I am wondering how easy it will be to make frends (both expats and locals) and if it is easy to join sports teams, football, golf, tennis, mountain biking, skiing? Help is much appreciated!!!!!
