Sri Lanka: Is a work visa needed for freelancer work in UK?:

Hi, we are debating a move to Sri Lanka - my husband will be with an international organisation (World Bank). We are trying to work out whether I could work - I currently work freelance for UK clients whilst based in the US. I am paid in the UK. In the US I need a work permit to do so (which I have). Do I need a work permit in Sri Lanka to do this? If so, is it very hard to get for freelance work without a Sri Lankan link? Really appreciate your help!
