Sri Lanka: bringing our pets into Columbo:

When we come to Sri Lanka, we shall be bringing out 2 pet cats. IF you have all the correct papers and documentation confirming inoculations are up to date, are the pets put into quarenteen? Thank you G

Sri Lanka: Moving to sri lanka:

My husband and I will be moving to sri Lanka early June to retire. We are British and have been living in the middle east for the past 22 years. We will move to columbo first and then work out where we would like to base ourselves on a perminant basis. We enjoy exploring, cycling, sailing going to the gym, meeting people and are avid animal rights people and have rescued many animals and rehomed them as well as humainly trapped street cats and had them sterilised. We would very much like to know if there are specific locations where expats gather to meet and make friends and who could advise us on living in sri Lanka, to give us helpful hints in order to make the transition as simple and as smoothbas possible..
