Global Expat Forum: Who is living off of SSDI abroad and where?:

Hello, I receive 1355. In SSDI a month and am looking for a place to live off that. I am thinking Latin America. I have been to Thailand and India, Malaysia and Indonesia this year but feel more drawn to South America. Is anyone doing his and how is your experience overall? I am healthier then I have been in a long time and I think my back ( which is why I am on Disability) will be okay and I dont foresee another surgery for quite some time so should be good on the health issue. ( I am 44) Thank you for your reply and any or all information/ experiences.
