probaly good to start paying attention. look at the guide at the top of the page. the best way to come home with a million dollars is to go down there with 2 million..it is an old saying.

Belize: Considering moving:

its pretty obvious that CA countries are third world and tropical in climate. What allan says does have truth to it but is exaggerated. Crime in belize is primarily worst on the south side of belize city. health care is basic so things like a heart attack are much less survivable. summers are slap in the face hot like any tropical place. I have had it estimated that 40% of expats return north so rent for a year or so to make sure you can stand the place. if island time bothers you not only belize but any place in CA will bother you. lots of products you are used to wont be available in belize so you run up to Chet or PDC in mexico. Amazons shipping to belize is just plain prohibitive. Make sure you can get parts or there is a dealership in belize. look up great wall and mahindra vehicles.

Belize: Looking at Belize to retire:

Belize is definitely a third world country is so you just have to start a set that aside if you decide to move there the problem I see with Mexico is it it is extremely corrupt if you're going to Mexico just to hang out on the beach and rent that's easy to do going to Mexico to own a business or buy real estate means you have to deal with corruption. Healthcare is significantly better in Mexico but it very much depends on whether you speak Spanish or not I would not want to have to deal with a triple bypass or a valve transplant with Spanish speaking Dr you cannot actually own land in Mexico close to the coast or close to the international borders

United States: Moving to the US from the UK:

Post your resume at indeed.com

Mexico: Living on Yucatan coast:

belize is as safe as Mexico is. for health care you want either playa or Cancun. a gringo cannot buy real estate on coastal Mexico. renting is ok but there is a chance a judge has been bribed and the federales will come in and throw your stuff into the street. tulum beach is ejido land, google it. under no circumstances do you want to buy real estate in Mexico without a lot of research. remember, as a gringo you will have a target on your back. buildings are not built to first world standards and your lease could make you responsible for repairs.

Belize: Off Grid within 30 minutes to Coast:

google is your friend http://www.viviun.com/Real_Estate/belize/Farms-Ranches/

Belize: Car purchase & registration:

you also need to determine the condition of the car very carefully and also determine if there are any parts available in Belize.

Belize: SOunds like you have to be rich to live as an ExPat??:

why would you need spanish in an english speaking country?

United States: Senior Moving to the States:

the above comments about the ACA are lies. why do you need info on healthcare if the VA covers it.

Belize: south afrcian wanting to relocate:

there is a sizable SA expat community is S. Florida.
