Ukraine: Tourist Safety Kharkiv:

Hello, Thanks for your time in reading this. Am American male, 42, wanting to travel to Kiev, then take train to Kharkiv for 7 days to visit a female friend who is Ukraine citizen living near Kharkiv. She says its very unsafe for Americans to be in Kharkiv right now, and Ukraine in general. I frankly don't believe that, but know it's not safe to travel to war zone, obviously. Is it generally safe for American or foreigner to travel to Kiev and take train to Kharkiv for 7 days ? Spasibo, Jeff in Chicago
