Oman: Employment visa documents required:

Hi. A family friend is about to relocate to Muscat in July 2016 on employment visa from India. The company in India will do all the formalities for him. He wishes to know what documents are absolutely needed for this visa? Do they need copies of the documents or attested copies? For example, for the professional certificate, does he need to submit an attested copy or a photocopy is sufficient? He is thinking of modifying the dates on the professional work experience so as to show that he has a longer work experience so that the Omani consulate will consider his application. Is this suggested?
