Bahamas: Help needed with Doctors Hospital Bill:

Hi all, I am an expat in Bahamas, and went to the doctors hospital a few months ago. Before they bring me to the doctor, they called my insurance company and confirmed the insurance company will cover the emergency service (as it is a Sunday), so I didn't pay any fee. However a few month later, I received a large bill from doctors hospital asked me to pay the service. I have no idea, and wonder if anyone can advise me on how to proceed with this matter. Appreciate your help!
