Vietnam: visa for australia:

Cambodia right next door is much cheaper cost of living. The one year business visa can be obtained with no red tape.

Philippines: muslim %:

There is a large mosque called the Masjid al-Dahab is situated in the predominantly Muslim section of the Quiapo district in Manila. There has only been a few actual bombs that killed a couple of times mostly on buses as they lack know how and material to construct many , but has been several years since any activity like that in the Manila Metro. Just stay away from southwestern Mindano. The US has a 600 man Marine base near the city of Zamoanga City where 3 Marines were killed about 5 years ago to my memory as one was from my home city of Maquoketa, Iowa. Lots more very depressing news articles can be found around that area by doing a google search. The official percent of the total population that is Muslim is 5.6% but Muslims themselves say as high as 8 to 12%. The Philippine Government has outlawed the teaching of young youths the Koran in the mosques in Mindanao. Nine out of every ten people in the Autonomous Region of Mindanao are Muslim. Parts of south-western Mindanao island group, particularly the provinces of Maguindanao, Basilan, Lanao del Sur, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi (part of the Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (ARMM)), are home to a sizeable Muslim population, making the island group, along with Palawan, the only area of the Philippines with a significant Muslim presence. The Catholic Church basically controls the Philippines Government which has caused an estimated 1.8 million abandoned street children to fend for themselves across the country without sex education, condoms, birth control of any kind, and abortion. I do not agree with abortion either, as consider it the crime of infanticide, and I am not religious at all, but neither am I an atheist, as to me all the world's religions are false cults from doing much research.

Philippines: where to safely retire in the philippines59:

Will give you some cities worth checking out as safe to live: Tabuk, Bontoc and Sagada. Few people have even heard of the wonderful Kalinga provincial capital of Tabuk. Wonderful temperate weather in all three cities.

Philippines: electricity prices:

The Philippines has the world's highest electricity rate averaging $0.33 per kilowatt hour. To not really needing air-conditioning the following cities some well known and others known only to locals plus nearby towns and villages also have potential: Baguio, Tabuk, Sagada, Badu, and Bontoc, plus they are all fairly scenic areas.

Philippines: Smoking inlaws:

Dump her as there are to many other beautiful ladies to pick from. My lady both parents are dead so no issues with any relatives and her younger sister she will have nothing to do with because she left her live on the street with her two little girls to survive for the past two years. She smoked before but poverty stopped that god awful ugly habit. Smoking and tobacco products is just another drug addiction for the weak minded! The only real good thing is for population control as they die earlier!

Philippines: Expat Children Relation with Natives:

The best public schools in the Philippines I would have to say are in Baguio. You are entirely right as private international school is by far the best solution for the education of children. That is what I had to do with my two daughters though the youngest never did develop mentally because her mother babied her not teaching her a damn thing about doing anything for herself, while the oldest one went on to get a master's degree. You have to constantly push children to excel as so many have lazy mind.

Philippines: Relatives Borrowing Money:

Advise from an old man. Does not matter where you live when relatives want a loan treat it like any other charity in that the money is just gone, then you will not feel ill will towards anyone. I am lucky the Filipino I have only has one sister with both parents dead who will have nothing to do with her sister, as she was left on the street for two years with one small girl and a baby. She does not think like most Filipinos, but like an American. I am so lucky to have her. Going on 9 years now. She is beautiful and only 26 years old now. I rescued her off the street. You never know where you will find the love of your life. She was a lowly cam girl on www.asiancammodels.com

Vietnam: Opportunity...:

Ah! You are in the business as a legal drug pusher! Shame on you! Beer tastes like swill, as far as I am concerned! I hope you find no partners to import these poisons into Viet Nam.

Philippines: Politics:

The political Washington buzz word "Progressive" hides the evil truth within the Democratic Party of who is a communist sympathizer. Anytime you see a new political term they are hiding something. Another example is the buzz word "Lobbyist" these are people who cam legally be bribed. Just shows how sleazy US politics has become. Do not know if any of you remember in the news when President Bill Clinton took the $280,000 bribe from the Communist Party of China to sign-0ff the secret missile technology now used on their navy ships. The Clinton's can be bribed, as so many Middle East countries have done by giving millions to the Clinton Foundation. Trump cannot be bribed.

Philippines: Confused about Moving to the Philippines:

Since you do not like the cold of Baguio the No, 2 place Filipinos love to visit on their vacation most is the city of Iligan, Mindanao right on the north central shore of the island where there are 23 waterfalls in the nearby mountains enough to keep you quite busy hiking too has a major techincal university being also a provincial captial with brand new airport nearby. Lots of extinct volcanoes on the island, No problem with Muslims there as is quite safe with a population not much larger than Baguio. If you want scenic this is one of the best places in the Philippines to visit and live.
