Panama: Currency use in Panama?:

My wife and I are coming to Panama in March for a two week "exploratory" trip. We will be looking at Pedasi and Puerto Armuelles. What type of currency should we bring, cash, credit card, debit card, or travelers checks? Any guidance will be appreciated.

Panama: Senior Citizen Discounts?:

My wife and I are planning a trip to Panama in April or May of next year. We will be looking at a few areas for possible retirement. We are wondering if Panama offers senior discounts to people who are not residents or expats (yet).

Panama: Puerto Armuelles:

My wife and I are looking to retire next year. We have read a lot about Puerto Armuelles and would like to check it out. We are tentivly looking to make a visit next April or May for a month. We will need a small (1bedroom and bath with A/C and hot water within walking distance to town. Would also like to hear from others living in Puerto Armuelles. Thank you.

My wife and I are considering retiring to Pedasi in 2017. We would like some info regarding a place to rent for a few months while looking for a place to buy. We would like a 1 bed/bath within walking distance to town, furnished. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Greg
