Do many expats from other countries live in Salinas? What do expats in general do in Salinas? I understand the "season" is 3 months and the rest of the 9 months is pretty quiet. What are people doing during the 9 months off? Is there any internet connection to perhaps do some sort of work?

How do you get there? Fly to Quito, fly to Guayaquil and take a bus? Can you fly into Salinas? On the map, that stretch of beach looks really fantastic to explore. Is it safe out there? Or is it even riskier than before? Thanks, looking forward to your reply.
