Malaysia: How to count number of days:

I i would like to seek your help on what is the correct way of counting my number of days of exit in Malaysia. I have the below arrival and departure as per my passport. Arrival: Sept 28, 2015 7pm Departure: Dec 25, 2015 1am Arrival: Dec 27, 2015 1am Departure: Feb 6, 2016 1am Arrival: Feb 15, 2016 1am Departure: May 7, 2016 1am Arrivak: May 13, 2016 1am 5.3 An individual is considered to be physically present in Malaysia for a whole day although he is present in Malaysia for part(s) of a day. If I am to follow this rule, I count my number of days exit as 14 days but someone from IRB said I exit 20 days thus I am not a resident for 2015... Please help me...
