Panama: Young Liberal Couple moving to Panama:

We'll be heading down sooner than later and have extruded bits and pieces of Panama via the net. We are also going to arrive site unseen with the intention of securing residency within the forst few months of arrival. We hope to find a modest dwelling close to water with a lot of green space, or somewhere in the hills, with a view. We are both well traveled internationally and highly educated, and one of shall secure employment before we arrive. I most likely will go to work for a development company, and my partner will most likely train for esl certification. Our approach is much different I imagine than most expats arriving in Panama, as we are still active in the work force. I am looking for information on employment within Panama, and which certifications within the trades are recognized. My partner is interested in general regional information. As well as employment.
