Indonesia: residence for Americans and Venezuelans:
Hello all,
Me and my girlfriend are looking for a place to move to. We are considering a couple of places like the Philippines, argentina, Fiji, and as well in Indonesia. Indonesia is at the top of our list, but we are trying to figure out how do receiving visas work. We do plan to live there permanently and it will be me, her, my brother, and our daughter. I am American and she is Venezuelan, but she is a permanent residence of the US and not a citizen. I don't know if any of that plays a roll but in some places we have looked it did. I am a massage therapist and I have other abilities and talents. She on the other hand works in the hospital. How long does it take to be able to work in Indonesia? do you need a license in Indonesia to perform massage? We are both in our mid 20's and love the beauty of Indonesia, we are just trying to figure things out before we move. Any help is welcome.
Argentina: Living in Argentina:
Hello all, I was wondering. where is the ideal place to live in Argentina, as far as safety goes. I know there is always going to be crime no matter where you go. Im not looking for a perfect place. I am just wondering where is the safest place in Agentina. I hear a lot of people say Mendoza is the safest place to live because the crime rate is lower there. That was from one source though. I want to know your opinions. Also I am a massage therapist, I went to school and got my digree in massage. I am also good at pottery and electrical work. Are there any good jobs doing any of those fields? How are the exporting laws from Argentina? I make hookahs and different other things I am planning to sell all around the world and want to know if it is difficult to export things out of Argentina.
Argentina: Where to invest $:
If you can find a bank with an IRA account, that would be something to look into. An IRA account builds interest over time a lot quicker than a regular account would.
Argentina: Banking and Houses:
Hello there, my name is Adnaudta Hubbard and I am planning on moving to Argentina in December of 2017. I will be moving to the capital and wanted to know if there is any way I could open an online bank account from over here in the US. I want to be able to wire money from my check into that account as a saving method for pesos because I don't want to have to carry a lot of money with me on the plan. I would also like to avoid having to actually use dollars or an atm when I get there to withdraw a lot of money. All in all I want to have a bank already there before I move there. What are you thoughts, is this possible? also I have been looking at houses on 2 different websites that are over there but things are confusing. I don't know if the house is for sale for that amount of if it is for rent, because I am putting in information to buy the house but I see a lot for some weird prices. Since I don't know how much things are over there im alittle lost. How much are houses in Pesos over there?
Argentina: Import in Argentina:
I was wondering the same as far as exporting goods. I make hand made hookahs, and pots and what not and want to know how exporting works in Argentina, but I see that I will have to go out of the country to do so.
