Hi outofba, you can just come in to Thailand without visa for 1 month and do a retirement visa in Bangkok than move to anywhere you want. to get a retirement visa you will have to open Thai bank account and have 800.000 Baht in your account, if you do not have 800.000 visa agent can help you with it.
