Romania: salary expectation:

Next Year I will live in Romania. I'm from Germany and living. Recently I applied for a job in Bucharest that requirs German language skills (IT support). Only two days after the application was send, I was called by the company. They asked me some basic questions also how much I want to earn. I was not prepared for this question at all. Especially, I do not know how much a Romanian in Bucharest earns. Today, I earn €2500 a month. I'm sure it will be less in Bucharest, but how much can I ask for or negotiate for without being ripped off.
