There are lots for sale in the beautiful fertile Monte Livano area on the Jinotepe/San Marcos border. I know of one for sale for 24k for 3 manzanas near where I recently purchased 2 manzanas

Saludos! I am currently closing up the purchase of a 3.5 acre rural lot outside of Jinotepe with my Nica wife. The process went very smooth considering the lot was part of a larger parcel. It has taken 3 months and we just chauffeured the appraiser to the property and have paid our tax. He valued it slightly more than what we paid. We had an attorney-a family friend handle all of it and the fee was very reasonable. It has wonderful soil and boasts many dozens of avocado, banana, mango, papaya and lemon trees. The several 60 ft Guanacaste trees are probably my favorite part. Our dream of retiring there is getting closer. We are now planning the building of a 4/3 2000 sf house. Could I be pointed to a forum/conversation that would detail the process of building?...selecting a contractor? Also is there a list of steps and documents that are needed for the Alcaldia from start to finish?...gracias por adelantado!
